A Portfolio Career: Director of Talking Drums, Sue runs hand-drumming / percussion corporate & community w/shops & has raised funds for USWAH (UK) Charity No 1065720. Her commissioned hand-painted Purple Turtle Studio batiks are on permanent display in Hampshire Arts & Health venues as well as in private collections in The Netherlands, Australia & the UK.
Sue has worked as a Performance Artist under the umbrella of ‘Mazuri’. She’s also an accomplished session musician & has performed on five continents inc: Africa, Australia & Europe. In January 2010, she sustained a mild to moderate traumatic brain injury (TBI), as a result of an unprovoked assault. Despite having a life-challenging neurological condition she continues to work & inspire others whatever their ability. Indeed, her most recent w/shops have been with Café Neuro York, a Support Group for people in & around York with long-term neurological conditions of which Sue is a member.
